Every effort has been made to prepare these ‘Trial’ Higher School Certificate Examination in accordance with the Board of Studies documents, Principles for Setting HSC Examinations in a Standards-Referenced Framework (BOS Bulletin, Vol 8, No 9, Nov/Dec 1999), and Principles for Developing Marking Guidelines Examinations in a Standards Referenced Framework (BOS Bulletin, Vol 9, No 3, May 2000). No guarantee or warranty is made or implied that the ‘Trial’ Examination papers mirror in every respect the actual HSC Examination question paper in any or all courses to be examined. These papers do not constitute ‘advice’ nor can they be construed as authoritative interpretations of Board of Studies intentions. The CSSA accepts no liability for any reliance use or purpose related to these ‘Trial’ question papers. Advice on HSC examination issues is only to be obtained from the NSW Board of Studies.


ORDERING
  • To order online, schools need to register. A username and password will be allocated. It is the responsibility of the individual schools to safeguard their username and password.
  • Minimum order for each paper is 5. Marking guidelines/solutions will be supplied for each examination paper.
  • Payment is to be made on tax invoice. Please print out tax invoice after submitting your order. Once your order is submitted, an email will be automatically generated in confirmation.
  • Cheque, in full payment and made out to Catholic Secondary Schools Association, is to accompany the tax invoice.
  • No orders will be processed until payment is received. When payment is received, an email will be automatically generated in confirmation.
  • 10% GST already included in base cost of papers.
  • Price of papers includes cost of delivery within New South Wales.
  • Additional orders may be placed if necessary, providing they are placed before the end of the cut-off date for orders. The process of tax invoicing and payment is as for the first order. The orders will be delivered in one lot.
  • Please note that the CSSA cannot take responsibility where the school provides incomplete or incorrect order information.
  • The CSSA cannot take responsibility for orders placed without the proper school authorisation.

DELIVERY
  • Delivery to schools within New South Wales will be by courier.
  • Delivery to international schools to be by DHL, Air Express or other requested means. Cost of delivery to these destinations will be charged independently and will vary according to destination and mode of delivery.
  • Examination papers will be delivered to schools at least one week prior to the scheduled timetabling of the exams. It is the responsibility of each school to check the delivery against their order, and to notify the CSSA of any discrepancy.
  • Please note that the CSSA cannot take responsibility where the school provides incomplete or incorrect delivery information.
  • The CSSA cannot take responsibility for any failure to deliver trial papers which results from unauthorised internet site access/use e.g. activity by "hackers".

ADMINISTRATION
  • Examination papers are provided to schools; requests from individuals for papers cannot be accepted.
  • Papers scheduled for BOTH WEEKS must be taken at time/date specified. Rescheduling of papers is not permitted.
  • It is the expectation of the CSSA Executive that schools will NOT modify any paper.
